MIY Persistence

04 – Practical Assessment

Here’s a quote for you from W. C. Fields: “If at first you don’t succeed, try, try again. Then quit. There’s no point in being a damn fool about it.” How does this fit into a module about persistence?

Well, I don’t want to see anyone being a fool, so in this lesson we’re going to stop and do some analysis.

Go back to your notes from the first worksheets and review your goals list. Based on your analysis of your successes and failures, can you see any potential problems that have arisen?

Describe any difficulties you might be having and brainstorm how you can “persist” through them or if you might need to revise your plan. If there isn’t enough room on the worksheet, use a fresh sheet of paper or a Word/Pages document.
